A colonial oasis in the country’s central highlands has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It's gothic-like architecture, enchanting cobblestone streets and striking light make it one of the most beautiful cities in Mexico. 
You will have time to explore this delightful small city steeped with history, filled with art galleries, artesian gift shops, and charming cafes.
Fly into Leon airport or Queretaro and we will have a shuttle waiting for you to bring you to your yoga retreat destination at Casa Anna.

 5 days of instruction in hatha yoga and Ayurveda, an Ayurvedic consultation and an aromatherapy massage. As well as a chance to participate in the towns famous Catrina Parade on Nov 1st,  get your face painted, dress up, and take a tour of the town's decorated cemetery's and learn about Mexico's view of death.​ There will be plenty of time to relax by the pool or explore the winding cobblestone streets of charming San Miguel de Allende

         Your retreat leader Usha 

Originally of British descent, is a certified international Yoga teacher,  Ayurveda Life Style Counsellor and masseuse. She has been teaching yoga since 1993 and has cultivated her own unique style, a typical class includes classical hatha yoga postures, breathing techniques relaxation, mantras and meditation, as well as Ayurvedic insights.  She has a great respect for the true meaning behind yoga and creates a safe and supportive environment for her students to practice in so that they can connect to their own inner wisdom, peace and joy.
